Q:How do we get our own true story illustrated by you?

It is incredibly easy. Write out your story like you’re telling it at a party to a bunch of people you’re trying to impress. Don’t worry about using big words, they most likely won’t make it into the comic - just tell the story directly and entertainingly. Treat it like you were pitching a movie to a producer; you really want to sell it.

Then you send it to TRUESTORYCOAST@GMAIL.COM.

Some people have sent me audio files of them telling the story, and I kind of love that - it captures their personality and storytelling rhythms in a way that text can’t.
